Cicero Hat Pattern 2.0 by VirulentRequiem Cicero Hat Pattern 2.0 by VirulentRequiem
Finally made a more accurate pattern for Cicero's hat. You'll have to place and stitch on the stripes (on the gray area).

The pattern is 24 inches wide, so it's actual size.

Remember to mirror the bottom stripe pieces!
There is just two of them this time.

I'm completely new to DIY clothes so if I sound stupid I'm sorry :I
Do I need to 2 of the bigger piece or 2 of every piece? Sorry I'm just confused ;~;

Just one of every piece, except for the long triangular piece that is the stripe. The largest piece goes all the way around the head and comes together in the center of the back of the head. The tips end up being folded in half. I hope that helps. DX

Haha it came too late. I ended up using the other pattern you made and it came out awesomely! My camera's wonky so I wont be able to post pics but your design made it really simple for me to do my first sewing project so thanks a lot [link]

Yeah, I figured the second pattern was more difficult, so I left up the first one. I'm glad it worked out for you! :hug:

Thanks so much! I'm working on a Cicero costume for Halloween and I've been searching all over for something like this.

I actually based this pattern off one I made for my plush. The original doll hat was actually in centimeters, and then I made them inches for the human version. ^-^ But your doll probably won't be the same size as mine. XD

Yeah. So far I've only been basing his clothes off of the plush body pattern. His shoes and hat just baffled me. Now I have a guide for the hat. Now I just need to figure out the curl at the ends of his shoes.

Thank you~

I made the tips on mine long and pointy, and then rolled them a little after I stuffed them. It's not quite right, but the closest I could get. XD

You're very welcome! I hope it works. The stripes need to be a little wider at the ends, but I wasn't sure how to work that, so this is what I came up with. XD
